be better informed. It is based on the combined
input of individuals who have had direct experience with promoters that
simply don't measure up. Please rate and comment on any promoter

Promoted several Bob Marley festivals. Metro Management, MetroManagement/Make A Wish, out of Oswego, IL. Murphy Fairs & Festivals, LaGrange, GA. Gervais Fine Art & Craft Festivals, out of Ardmore, PA Ken Roth Business names: Main Street Festivals, Mainstreet Event Management Ken listed several events in the festivalnet.com database. In Feb. 2005 we checked the facility for several of these events and discovered none of them were contracted events. We pulled all of his events from our site. Ken was told he would need to send us contact information for the location of the event for any show he wants to list, and we would be happy to verify that the event is happening and has been contracted. He has failed to do this for any event, as of this date 04/05/05. However, he has continued to list events under different company names and different email addresses. We have continued to pull his events and will not list any event that he does not provide verification that the event is scheduled, contracted and includes accurate information. Ken Roth operates out of Orlando, FL and recently New York, NY. Here are the facts: Avalon Park Presents (a legitimate and credible organization) let Ken Roth assist with exhibitor booking. Avalon Park Presents had no knowledge of his past activities. He stole the exhibitors' money and ran. Avalon Park Festivals & Special Events was a bogus name used by Ken Roth on these listings and he used the name of Stephanie Hodson (who is actually an honest person with Avalon Park Presents), but the phone number he listed was (407) 246-4583, which is his phone number, not the number for Avalon Park Presents. To clarify, Avalon Park Presents is a legitimate organization and has events listed on our site. Stephanie Hodson is the contact for them and their true phone number is (407) 658-6565. Their web site is www.avalonpark.com. Unfortunately, they were just another victim of Ken Roth. |
